Bathroom Remodel, Pacific Grove

As can be seen from the two “before” photos, this bathroom remodel in Pacific Grove, California, transformed a tight, compartmentalized space into an open, elegant bathroom.
Custom designed cabinets were made by Bentwood, topped with an elegant black granite countertop. Two Toto sinks grace the counter, with Graff faucet fixtures in brushed nickel.
The enticing Americh bath tub is accompanied by a Graff faucet. The Duravit toilet looks amazingly beautiful. The concealed installation system by Geberit, also known as an in-wall carrier, discretely places the toilet’s water tank behind the wall, resulting in a clean aesthetic.
Surrounding the bathroom, from floor to ceiling, are tiles by Ann Sacks.
A Roman shower was created, with shower valve and head by Hansgrohe, and complete with Starphire glass, which allows the elegant shower design and tiles to flow through much better than ordinary shower glass.
The towel warmer, made by Myson, is both decorative and functional.
This bathroom also has two items that are more than what meets the eye. First, above the sink is an obliging mirror with built-in lights and a hidden television. Second, hidden inside a section of the beautiful Bentwood cabinet, are a washer and dryer by Asko.
All lights are recessed or under cabinet.

How did we “green” this project?
All lighting after the remodel is LED, which not only saves money for the client, but is infinitely better for the environment. The Duravit toilet carries the “EPA WaterSense High Efficiency Flushing” label.
The Asko washer and dryer are Energy Star rated, and a majority of manufacturing components are labeled for recycling and are certified ISO14001 for environmental quality.
We refinished the existing oak flooring, which gives a fabulous foundation to this exquisite bathroom.
