Kitchen Remodel, Pacific Grove

The “before” picture of this Pacific Grove, California, kitchen remodel shows a transformation that is clean and modern. Custom designed cabinets were made by Bentwood, and are topped with an elegant black granite countertop. The Allia fireclay sink is made with the same organic clay that goes into the world-famous Limoges fine ceramic ware. Accompanying the sink is a Hansgrohe faucet fixture in brushed nickel.
The appliances in the kitchen provide form and function. The dishwasher, speed oven and built-in coffee/espresso machine are all made by Míele.
The stove/oven is made by American Range, and was built in California. Placed above the range is a ventilation hood made by Míele, which incorporates an extremely powerful extraction fan with lights, glass and stainless steel. The stainless steel refrigerator is made by Sub-Zero.
Inside one of the Bentwood cabinets, is an under counter wine cooler made by Sub-Zero.
All lights are recessed or under cabinet.

How did we “green” this project?
All Míele appliances, including the ventilation hood, are high-efficient and built with a life expectancy of 20 years or more.
The Míele dishwasher and Sub Zero refrigerator are both Energy Star rated.
The Allia sink is lead free and recyclable.
All lighting after the remodel is LED, which not only saves money for the client, but is infinitely better for the environment. We refinished the oak flooring that was already there, which gives a fabulous foundation to this beautiful kitchen.
